Stepping onto 20 Denmark Street for the B.R.A.T shop opening felt like stepping into the beating heart of rock ’n’ roll’s revival. The street was alive with energy, models lining the pavement, music pulsing through the crowd, and Dom delivering a performance that was as raw and electric as the city itself. It was a launch worthy of the street’s storied history, yet boldly carving a new chapter.
When I returned on Friday, the buzz of opening night had softened into something more intimate. Without the crowds, the shop’s true spirit came into focus, a fusion of home and rebellion, fashion and unapologetic individuality. The staff’s warmth was immediate; Barbie, in particular, was a joy to talk to and an undeniable asset to the team.

The Glory collection is stunning… wearable statements dripping with attitude. I’ve already earmarked a few pieces for my wardrobe. The jewellery by Tristan manages to be playful and hardcore at once, each piece feeling like it carries its own story.
My own feelings upon entering were those of stepping onto hallowed ground, a place where I am not just welcome, but where I truly belong. It is a space free from judgement, where every stranger carries the potential to become a lifelong friend. Dom has achieved something so very few ever do: he has built a sanctuary for us all, a place where acceptance, love, and belonging aren’t just ideals, but the foundation of every brick and beam.

It was the basement, though, that captured my imagination most. Cozy yet brimming with possibility, it feels like the heart of what this place could become. Dom spoke about future art classes and therapy sessions and instantly, I envisioned a support group here. A safe space where people could gather to share their stories face-to-face, forge new friendships, and be reminded they are not alone, just as we’ve done through my work on this site. I can already picture those evenings: the hum of conversation, the comfort of connection, and the quiet power of being understood.

The B.R.A.T shop isn’t just a retail space, it’s a living, breathing testament to community, creativity, and unapologetic self-expression. The Black Hearts Club finally has a place to gather, share stories, raise a Bludbeer, and call home.
We have a home and this is only the beginning.
